Are you aware that the Osceola School District offers numerous opportunities for establishing mutually beneficial relationships? With nearly 100 schools and departments combined, over 8,000 employees, and approximately 70,000 students in grades K-12, the sky is the limit for establishing partnership opportunities that benefit both our district and your organization.
Reasons to become a Partner in Education (PIE):
Excellent opportunity to promote and expand your business by sharing information about your company’s products and services to staff, parents, and the community. Your business will receive exposure through face-to-face interactions, distribution of your company’s flyers, announcements, and recognition on our social media channels, which have thousands of followers.
Offer support to students by providing mentoring, motivation, encouragement, and leadership building skills, helping to mold the future workforce and decision makers of our community, contributing to the district’s Community Engagement strategic goal.
Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives that align with the district’s Talent Management Strategic goal of Employee Retention.
Assist our district’s employee recruitment efforts by sharing our career opportunities to attract quality employees committed to student achievement and “future-ready graduates”.(Osceola School District’s Strategic Plan - Portrait of a Successful Graduate)).
Examples of partnership activities:
Serve as guest speakers in schools to engage in conversations with students regarding career exploration, leadership skills, business ownership, instill an understanding on how their studies are relevant to the real-world, and so much more! For example, some of our high schools offer the Latinos in Action program to empower students to succeed. Our partners in Education can help support this initiative.
Provide support through financial contributions.
Offer donations in the form of goods and services.
Sponsor events for both students and staff. These include but are not limited to Staff and Teacher Appreciation, Education Awards, Professional Development Workshops, New Teacher Symposium, School Open Houses, and ESOL Parent Leadership Council Meetings.
Coordinate community service and outreach opportunities.
Present consumer education awareness sessions for parents and staff.
Award scholarships and grants for student academics and competitions
Advocate for our students by participating in School Advisory Council meetings.
Donating incentives to students and staff for achievement, attendance, performance, etc.
