Edgar Vazquez Cruz
Edgar Vazquez Cruz was born and raised in Caguas, P.R. He has bachelor’s degree in Aviation Science Management, and a Master’s degree in Labor Relations from the Inter-American University of PR, San Juan P.R.
As part of his professional experience Edgar was an Arbitrator, Mediator and Conciliator of labor relation disputes with the “Comision Apelativa del Sistema Publico de P.R.” (CASP) during 12 consecutive years.
In 2012, Edgar and his family moved to Celebration, FL. In 2014 he created Sunstate Quality Cleaning LLC. The company specializes in commercial and residential flooring maintenance and pressure washing services.
During the last ten years Edgar has served to the local entrepreneurs and Hispanic community. He has occupied the following positions: a) Vice-President Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, January 2021 -present. On November 2022 he was just re-elected to continue as the VP for two more years b) member and Vice-President - Celebration Leads Group - Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce in Central Florida (PRCCCF), September 2020- Jan 2021; c) Member - Kissimmee/ Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, Latinos Referral Group- Jan 2016 – Dec 2017.
In addition to his civilian career, Edgar accomplished three decades in the military field. In April 1989 Edgar became a member of the USA Navy Reserve. He served for ten years as a Machinist’s Mate. He provided maintenance to ships, submarines, and auxiliary equipment among other equipment.

From April 1999 to Jan 2019, he decided to become a commissioned officer. Edgar joined the Puerto Rico Army National Guard. In August 2000 Edgar was commissioned as a 2LT and by Jan 2019 he was retired as a Major. He was a logistics officer. He served on Irak, Afghanistan, Kwait, South Korea, and Japan among other places.
Edgar is the father of Gadier E. Vazquez.
